Kseniya Knyazeva

Candidate of Art Studies, associate professor, theatre researcher. She graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where she taught from 2009 to 2021. Author of more than 70 academic publications and a participant in 40+ international conferences. For over 20 years she has researched scenography and the visual language of the stage production.

She has served on the jury of the National Theatre Award and on the expert councils of the festivals “Belaya Vezha”, “Mart-Kontakt” and “Art Planeta” (Belarus).

She has presented at the international festivals “Boska Komedia”, “Bliski Wschód” (Poland), “Sirenos” and “TheAtrium” (Lithuania).

Aliaksandr Marchanka

Belarusian actor and director, head of the “Theatre Art and Acting” programme at EHU (Vilnius, Lithuania), an Honoured Artist of the Republic of Lithuania. He graduated from the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. In 2001–2018 he worked at the Republican Theatre of Belarusian Drama, and in 2009 he became head of the Centre for Belarusian Drama.

Director of the productions “Maybe?” (2014), “Anti(gone)” (2017), “We Breathe Together” (2020) and the performance “Painted Words” (2023).

Yulia Khalevinska

Playwright and director. Lecturer at the Theatre Academy and deputy director of the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw; in 2020–2024, deputy director of the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz. Author of over 25 plays and more than a dozen theatrical adaptations staged throughout Poland and abroad. Co-founder of the “Aurora” playwriting award (Bydgoszcz) and a longtime member of its jury. Laureate of numerous awards, including the Gdynia Playwriting Award and a competition for an exhibition of Polish contemporary art. Awarded the bronze “Gloria Artis” medal.

Andrei Novik

Actor and director, founder of the BYTeatr initiative in Poland. Creator and curator of theatre productions, masterclasses and creative laboratories. He has more than 30 theatre roles and over 40 film roles to his name. Nominee for the National Theatre Award (Minsk, 2016), winner of the Red Heather award for best male role (Berlin, 2024).

Director of the productions “How Are You?” (2022), “Krystyna’s Sea” (2023), “The Galley” (2023), “I Have the Audacity to Be” (2024), as well as the short film “The Olympic Team” (2022).
